Hello! I’m Renn (they/them), a queer, nonbinary / trans, and neurodivergent CranioSacral therapist. I am a proud member of an all neurodivergent family, including two cats and a dog. My partner and I are parents to two high support needs kids. I am a West-Michigander, a small business owner, and an advocate. I’m happy you’re here and I am proud of this beautiful, sacred work I get to do.

When I was first introduced to CranioSacral Therapy back in 2010, I quickly learned just how powerful and life-changing CST can be. CST opened the door to safety, self-discovery, trauma processing, authentic identity, and improved physical health. CST has allowed me to know, accept, and celebrate my AuDHD. It has led to the deconstruction of my internalized ableism. It has aided me in trusting my own process and challenged me to prioritize my own needs. Through this growthful and healing process, I am forever changed. I trust you will be, too.

I founded Red Maple CST because I want to share these gifts with others. Our community needs and deserves an authentic space centering queer, trans, AuDHD, and neurodivergent folx; a space to unmask, to celebrate our identities, and to know our importance. I regard my clients like the Red Maple tree that stood in my yard growing up. Red Maples are symbols of strength, resiliency, peace, and the promise of change. These qualities are innate to all of us, and it is my hope that you find integration and healing in this work. I invite you to connect. I invite you to meet yourself here.

An intentional practice.

Our first priority at Red Maple CranioSacral is to create a safe space for every person who wishes to receive services from us. We support each unique individual and celebrate their interconnecting identities, including their culture, race, eduction, generational history, sex, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, age, color, religion, body type, abilities, communication styles, beliefs and opinions. Healing happens in connection and relationship and Red Maple honors each individual experience that makes a person who they are. All are welcome here.

Collaboration

Here at Red Maple, you will be empowered to play an active role in your therapy. You will learn to listen to and trust your body. We will address your symptoms as well as the root causes behind them, empowering you to continue to make change. This way of collaborating honors your agency and ability to create change. You are the expert on yourself.

Competent Care

At Red Maple CST, you are safe to explore within yourself, as superficially or as deeply as you wish. Renn will follow you, with your consent, into any emotion, memory, and somatic experience you bring to the table. Your healing process will be honored exactly as it is, without judgment or expectation. Red Maple CST is a trans and queer CELEBRATED practice— you are welcome to come as your most authentic self, and find acceptance, safety, and healing.

  • “The amount of compassion and empathy Renn holds for clients is extraordinary. Renn's ability to tune into the body becomes evident very early on in the session. The lack of judgment and the abundance of trust that can be shared in a session with Renn creates a beautiful space of safety."
